Never again! – After hearing people rant and rave about this Restaurant, my husband and I finally decided to go. There is nothing romantic or elegant about this place,the food is sub standard,the dipping sauces arrive in a fast food looking container,and we could not wait for it to be over! If anyone thinks this is fine dining and great Fondue they simply havn't been anywhere in the world! Should have read the bad reviews before going there. Great fondue experience! – I had a wonderful experience at the Mona Lisa! The atmosphere is wonderful and unique. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Our server was great! After having a four course meal I was stuffed. The cheese that I had was a Brie cheese, and it was great! I highly recommend the Mona Lisa!! Much better than the Melting Pot. It's nice to support a local business instead of chain anyway.

below average – our waiter was absent through most of our meal. We were so jealous of the table next to us, their waitress was amazing. Then, the cheese was not hot enough, also we had to grill our food. how is it fondue? i recommend Melting Pot.

Good atmosphere..avoid on Valentine's!! – Was disappointed that we were seated on the second floor...felt like they had the air conditioning on too high....hostess was rude to the other couple that we had dinner with, they were late but, that doesn't mean you should be rude to paying customers!! Seemed a little overpriced for small portions of food. Like the other fondue place better (Melting...)...willing to try one more time (not on a holiday) though.

Not a good experience – I like to make judgements on a cost/reward basis which balances out the relationship. Mona Lisa is in a cozy, well appointed turn-of- the- century home and is very welcoming. Its three price fare from upper $38 to upper $48 per plate is at the upper end of the local scale but not at the top but for that price I would expect most of the food to be of high quality. Cook own food for $47 per person? – Although the fondue experience was fun, having to self-cook an entree for 6 people was too much to ask of someone paying $47.00 per person + extra $$ for EVERYTHING, it seemed. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia, and thought this restaurant would be a fun change on vacation in Colorado Springs, but overall I didn't think the experience was a good value. Very good – This restaurant offers a fondue menu. We had an appetizer, salad, the entree, and dessert. By the time we got to dessert, I was stuffed. The appetizer was fondue as well as the dessert. The entree is served as a "cook-your-own" at the table. The restaurant is located in a house, so the rooms are small and fairly intimate. There was one other couple in the room with us and there were only 2 other tables in that room. They do have a website where you can review the full menu. Reservations are a must.
