About ten years ago, I suddenly lost my voice. It was a hard time for me. Dr. Abaza knew immediately that it was spasmodic dysphonia, and started injecting botox into my vocal cords on a regular basis. I have been coming back every year for almost a decade. It's a quick procedure but it has been very helpful.
Parking alone is absolutely terrible. I spent 25 minutes trying to find a parking spot. I called the office to ask where I should park because there was nothing available, which I was not told any specifics. Then I find out that I could’ve have used valet parking when I got up to the office. (Why was I not told about that when I called asking where to park?) Sent professional consultation. Dismissive of concerns. Pt’s family reported, “Poor bedside manner” and that she, “Seemed annoyed”. Maybe she was having a bad day, but we all do. Not an excuse. Maybe this will filter its way back and she can consider why she got into medicine in the first place and reevaluate her interactions with her patients and their families.
Dr Abaza has been my surgeon for years and years and I absolutely would recommend her to anyone with subglotic stenosis or ear, nose and throat issues!!! Thanks for the great care!
