Dr. Vera is truly a wonderful person and a great physician. It is a pleasure to be his patient.
One of the rudest doctors I've had the displeasure of interacting with. He did not take any of my concerns seriously and talked over me when I began to recount my symptoms after asking me to. If you have any history of mental health issues he will insist your issue is psychosomatic, and will persist in these archaic beliefs even when your $1,000 lab results reveal that you were, indeed, sick. Truly horrific and traumatic experience with this physician. He was friendly and kind at first but things drastically changed over time. He was inflexible and not the friendliest. Writing this right now makes me want to cry because of how difficult my experience has been with Dr. Vera as my primary care physician. In addition, he was very unresponsive when it came to crucial needs like prescription refills and important documentation.
