Food quality and service is always great and consistent!!! I rated atmosphere a 4 because it’s an older building. Definitely reminded me of the mom and pop restaurants in Japan, which is nostalgic in my experience. A hidden gem for sure!
I should have known better than to go into an establishment in the middle of the week at lunch hour where there was nobody in the restaurant or the parking lot.
Momoya was an adorable mom-an-pop-type restaurant! The owners were friendly and polite and their dishes were delicious! I really liked their Philidelphi sushi rolls and their salmon with the Gyoza sauce! Sweet & tangy with a slight kick that went really well with the dishes we ordered! Highly recommend!

My husband and I discovered Momoya a while ago, and it has become our favorite sushi spot in IL. We’ve recommended it to several friends, and they keep coming back too. The fish is always fresh, the cuts are generous, and everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We will definitely be coming back again!
