Best Sushi in Burbank! First there was Zawa (anyone for warm sashimi? Ick...). Then came Zono, and that one was on top of the heap, and my personal favorite, for many years (until they recently changed ownership and good luck if you manage to make it out of there inside of 2 hours for a "quick lunch"). a quiet night out – momotaro, although fairly new, is a great place to go for some quality sushi. everytime i go there, i'm always greeted with a smile and ample service. the food is great and not expensive. i highly recommend this place.
The worst experience – I truly couldn't believe the other positive reviews - my friends & I had the worst experience. The food was mediocre, the decor was a little tacky, & service was just horrible. Though it wasn't crowded, we waited a long time for our food, & then they didn't serve all 4 of us at the same time. They forgot to bring the entree for 1 person in my party, so that person had to wait for 20 more minutes while the rest of us were awkwardly eating. Best kept secret in Burbank – This nice quiet sushi restaurant is hidden within the Burbank area. Its friendly staff makes you feel like you are part of the family. The prices are excellent and the sushi ... mottomo oishii (most delicious) If you want to visit a sushi restaurant without breaking the bank, visit Momotaro and you won't regret it.
EXCELLENT SUSHI & SERVICE – Momotaro Restaurant's "All You Can Eat" is a great way to enjoy the BEST SUSHI in town at a reasonable price! Kitchen Items are also included (if your craving tempura or chicken teriyaki). The service is awesome and the sushi chefs are really nice! I like how the restaurant has it's own parking (so we have one less thing to worry about!) I went with my boyfriend and he's really picky about his sushi. He thought this place was great. We are definetly going back SOON.
