I went expecting authentic Tibetan food, but instead of feeling particularly unique, the dishes felt more like fusion food. More than anything, the prices were way too high. The momos were small, and six pieces cost almost $20. I also ordered the Pad Krapow Gai. It was basically chopped chicken in a sauce served on the side, with plain rice and one fried egg. feel very lucky they reopened the last day of our trip. the best food we had during five days in hudson valley. excellent milk teas, hand-made dumplings, and the platter was incredible.

Overall the food was ok. The meat to noodle ratio was a little disappointing. Ordered a spicy chicken curry dish that barely had any meat for 1 person. For almost $30, they were really stingy with the meat portions.

Momo Valley is a very simple place, not heavy on the decoration but very efficient in the plates. Every dish I tried was so flavorful, comforting and authentic. Service is fast, I'd recommend coming with a group of friends and share one of their platters to get a preview of all they do. On weekends you might have to wait a little as there is nothing that will warm you up better after a hike than momos and broth.
