I love Momiji’s but the food has gone a bit downhill. I had the spicy tuna roll and Salem roll with an appetizer of pot stickers. The Salem roll had too much sauce and the spicy tuna roll wasn’t fresh. It seemed like the fish wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. My companion had the teriyaki chicken and it was dry. The gyoza was just ok.
Ordered Lunch Special Udon with the description added in photo- Fish cake and 2 pieces Inari Sushi. Went to pick up, there was no fishcake or Inari. Called them and no one answered. Went in to check if they missed it. They argued multiple times that lunch doe snot include Inari sushi. No mention of fish cake. When I told them exactly what I saw online and that's why I ordered " I was the wrong one" see pic below. I asked them to take it back and cancel the order. It wasn’t as good as their other locations because it was a newer one so it felt a little unkempt.
I moved here not long ago and found out this location is actually closed on Tuesdays, which was the day I understood when all Momiji restaurants had the 2 for 1 deal every week. Makes me wonder if they chose that day specifically to close to avoid giving that deal lol
