Momentum Center is a fantastic place. Minimal group hours. So you can get a full time job & work on outside recovery issues. Staff & counselors are very knowledgeable. Good location, with onsite parking & city bus stop across the street. Apartments & facility are basic, but clean & functional. I got a single room after a few weeks. This is the place you want to go to after inpatient treatment.
You don't get GA there. They make you pay for washing. Staff very passive aggressive. Very minimal classes. If you're on probation and happen to use they will tell your probation officer to put a warrant out for you and come get you straight out of class I seen this happen to 2 people in the month I was there SMH. One of the best places, if you are looking to opportunities to use the resources & have the motivation to put the WORK IN. amazing staff they actually treat you like a HUMAN!
I've been to many places in my life and through my adolescent years to try to get a hold of my addiction, but when I came through the doors of the Momentum center, I actually felt like they cared whether I succeeded or died from my addiction. Im happy to say that yesterday I celebrated two years clean from drugs and alcohol. I recommend the momentum center to anyone struggling with addiction that needs a group of people that will actually believe they can succeed and give them the confidence to do so. The momentum center is a good place if you just want to look for a job at work but as far as recovery is concerned that is not their priority very minimal classes very minimal information not a good place to recover from drugs
