Please don't go here. Our experience was so terrible. The owner is the most unprofessional, rude person I've ever had the displeasure to work with. One of my bridesmaids tried her dress on in the store and told the seamstress it was far, far too big. The seamstress in shop said that's normal and that she should be able to get it altered just fine back in Chicago. I bought my wedding dress at Moments to Cherish this past fall for my January wedding, and I can't speak highly enough about the service! Everyone I worked with at the store was incredibly helpful. There was a good selection of dresses at great prices. I ended up finding a dress that I absolutely loved on a discounted rack for only $150! It needed a few minor alterations, but they were able to make it fit perfectly! This was my first and last stop for a wedding dress! I decided to skip David's Bridal altogether due to so many negative reviews, and instead made an appointment with my Mom at Moments to Cherish in Fitchburg. I am -so- glad I did. I was so surprised by how quaint and relaxing this salon was. No hurrying or craziness going on, my Mom and I were the only ones there for our early morning appointment. I only have experience having alterations done here, twice, one for a bridesmaid dress and one for my bridal gown. The seamstress is nothing short of amazing. She is so kind, so patient and more than willing to work on a dress not from their shop. Most importantly, she does a great job so the amount of times you have to go in for fittings is minimized.
