I have to say, after decades of Going to this amazing place, the atmosphere def had something to be desired. There were tables out front, but we were sat in the back. We were forgotten about. Wine came late. Two tables down we listened to the kitchen and wait staff curse and talk about their personal lives and work. The atmosphere was ruined. It’s been a long time since I loved every single thing that a restaurant put in front of me and I feel thrilled to say that Mama Chaffe’s accomplished just that! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Bar drinks were top notch, I loved how Frangelico is served in the house espresso martini. Leonardo, who I assume is some kind of manager is clearly comfortable on the floor, interacting with guests and making sure everyone is content and satisfied. Truly an exceptional dining experience. The food is unmatched in the area. It is TINY and can be very loud but it makes the experience unique.
