Gorgeous setting. Service was excellent...very relaxing atmosphere and wine was tasty!
Some of the best wine we have had in Virginia. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds.
Great setting overlooking the vinyard and pond. The sampler was very nice with a pour that allowed you to take a second sip, most wineries we have visited had a single half ounce oiur and it was just enough to wet the whistle. This allowed us to take a second drink and really determine if we licked the wine or not.
The setting is absolutely beautiful and the wines were okay (nothing too memorable, other than the Chambourcin), but I found my experience with the guide to be subpar. I found she wasn't able to expand upon the wines and only shared what information was on the menu. I also asked about the history behind the name of the winery and she wasn't able to answer. We had a fantastic time here, wines were fantastic and Gavin was absolutely phenomenal and made for a 5 star visit! We will definitely be back!
