I was looking for something special to do with my 7-year-old granddaughter over Columbus Day. I had hoped to take her to the Molly Brown House, but when I discovered it was closed, I came across Molly Brown’s summer home, Avoca Lodge. What a wonderful and unexpected discovery! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this most wonderful personalized tour of Molly Brown's summer home. The tour is led by Momo who is a fourth generation owner of this beautiful 129 year old home! I don't think I've ever been on a tour that was that personalized! Well done!!!!! Momo shared so many personal stories of Molly Brown as well as the artifacts in the home. I highly recommend taking a tour of this unique home. Momo was our tour guide and did a fantastic job in explaining and showing us this, her home, as well as Molly Brown’s home. So much to see and learn. She is planning to provide a lot more fun things to see and learn about. Stay tuned, or call her. Loved today’s experience.

Just attended a wedding here for one of my family members and it was such a beautiful venue. The staff were friendly and helpful. The event ran through smoothly, the food and cake were great as well.
