I recently had a fairly serious electrical problem in my home. Within a day of posting the problem on the next door app Jay Rivera called to ask about the problem. The next day he came over and attempted to diagnose the problem and had a pretty good idea of what was going on. Long story short, I hired his company to take care of the problem. Had a fairly serious electrical problem that required replacement of the outside breaker box. Within an hour of posting the problem on the Braidwood NextDoor Site. Jay Rivera of Mold Squad called, explaining he was a contractor. He came the next day to assess the situation and gave me a quote which was average for electrical work. Stupid me, I decided to try to get a few more quotes for the job. All I could find were "squirrels" who either didn't show up or showed up and really tried to milk me, or played games. Jay and the Mold Squad are the guys for the job! My house has vermiculite asbestos insulation in the attic which is dangerous to mess with. I had the dilemma of needing to change out my bathroom fan and also routing it properly to exhaust out of the roof. I wasn't sure who would handle a job like this, especially dealing with the vermiculite. I contacted Jay and explained to him my situation.
