The front desk staff are hard to work with! My Dr sent in an urgent referral more than 5 weeks ago! His office has also called into Dr. Arriaga’s office multiple times with no returned calls. I myself called more than 7 times! 3 times in one day and spoke to Cassandra who says they will call me back after the lady looked over insurance benefits. I never ever received a call back! As far as being a physician is concerned, Dr. Arriaga is very knowledgeable, hence 2 stars instead of 1. Since he is only available on Wednesdays, I can only work 2 hours and have to take the rest of the day off to get my father to him. For the last 3 appointments, he has had the staff to call and reschedule my father's appointment. Though it is within a week or so time, I am unable to change my schedule with such limited time, so I still lose the entire day of work. It takes forever for his nurse to schedule an MRI where she only needs to know the right code and in about a minute or 2 the insurance will approve it. Those nurses don't want to do anything!
My surgery was a total failure, worse than when I started
Dr. Arriaga is great, but my experience with the scheduling dept. during and after my daughters most recent surgery, has been horrendous. 1. Original surgery date got cancelled and the only reason I found out was I called the day before surgery to find out what time to be there as I had never been given that info. We live over an hour away and had made lodging plans for the night before surgery so having to rearrange all this last minute was terrible. 2.
