Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home continues their passion for "recovery" from the loss of a loved one. An invitation to remember our beloved family members lost in 2024 arrived and I wasn't sure I would make the trip to Big Rapids as it felt like I was just beginning to be "normal" once again. I recently attended a visitation here for Larry Staffen. A wonderful man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. You can tell by all the people that came to visit and show support to his family. The funeral home had lots of space to accommodate everyone. They were very friendly. Thank you for all you did.

The loss of a loved one is traumatic no matter how the death occurs. Both Shari and Melissa helped me to deal with very difficult decisions in a kind and gentle manner. They allowed me to do what was best for us, for this situation. No questioning, no doubting, or pushing me to do more to celebrate the life of my brother. I was comforted by them every step of the way and I appreciate every little thing they have done.
