Waited three weeks to have an appointment with a nurse practitioner Kelly K. In preparation for a hysterectomy. Got checked in 15 minutes before schedule appointment, waited 45 minutes, then was informed she still had two people in the waiting room ahead of me. This is not ok! I have a schedule to maintain as well and waiting an unknown amount of time is total mismanagement of the scheduling system. If you don’t have breast cancer, apparently your concerns and your time aren’t important—at least that’s how I was made to feel by Dr. Lynn Kirkland. After waiting 2 hours past my scheduled appointment (and taking time off work), I expressed frustration because I had another appointment to make. Instead of acknowledging the delay, I was told she had a patient with breast cancer whose problems were “way more important than yours.” I understand emergencies happen, but no patient should be made to feel like their health concern... read more
The ONLY reason I end up at this location is if Dr. Dorsett is in the building. During my last visit, a nurse had the audacity to rigorously question my decision to speak with my doctor about a particular procedure. I remained cordial while biting my tongue. I had a wonderful visit last Friday with Miss Navarro. My usual nurse wasn't available and I was ok seeing someone else. She was phenomenal, from being personal and letting me talk about my personal life to get to the root of the issue, to really caring about what's actually going on. I will continue seeing her. I don't understand all the bad reviews, this place is clean, my other nurse was sweet, front desk was fine. The physicians and many of the nurses are very competent, professional, and caring, which is why many patients continue choosing this group. However, the administrative side still needs significant improvement. Appointment scheduling can be extremely difficult with some physicians, communication is often slow, and waiting times can be frustratingly long. Considering they are one of the major medical groups in town, improving patient access, scheduling efficiency, and overall administrative support should be a major priority.... read more
