It was funky basement restaurant not busy. We tried their alcapurrias it had plenty of meat. Their Morongo was tasty. We tried their, Carne frita, shrimp, and pulled pork mofonogs all are very tasty. I will be returning there.
I’ve been in Ct for over 2 years now . Finding authentic Puerto Rican food has been nothing but disappointing. You go to one you’ve been to all in my own experience. Until today … hands down the best and authentic food here. There .Wasn’t an over whelming array of food . Ambience was nice. The decor was a whole vibe . If you are seeking real Puerto Rican food … this is a must . May you have the same satisfying experience we had in seeking that specific home cooked meal taste that feels like home and hit the spot !
I’ve eaten here a few times and usually share take out with my mom. Take out is consistently good. I went today and dined in with my mom and grandma. We LOVED it! The chimichuri is our favorite sauce. We had the carne frita mofongo (theirs is crispy but not hard😋😋😋) and the pernil and the woman there gave us a side of arroz con gandules to try. It was all so so good 😋😋😋 we also thought the little Puerto Rican flag on top of the food was a great detail. Will be back soon.
Was waiting for my food and seen a roach run across the floor I just wasted my money cause I just throw the food away. Plus one of the staff was very rude and not professional, Never going there again
