This review is strictly related to the Diagnostic Imaging Center located on the third floor off the Gold lobby. They really need to do a better job at scheduling because my brother had an appointment at 3:30 for an MRI and 3 hours later he was done. This is really unacceptable. Not only was that rude to him but to me as well since I had to also wait 3 hours in the lobby. Do better! People are sick or they are assisting the sick and should not have to go through this.
Run in the opposite direction. Lots of mistakes. Including being a couple days out from a biopsy, totally missing the need for cardiac clearance. Things went downhill from there. Look elsewhere especially if you have complex chronic conditions. They won't want you. It is also not safe. If it,was would they have a large security team of men.
My family was treated by the best care in the area, and I would not trust anyone else. Moffitt is unique in their offerings, with opportunities like clinical trials and other treatments that most centers haven't even started. The nurses, doctors, and all staff were so easy to work with, and the patient portal made such a huge difference. No other center around the area can compare to the knowledge/experience that Moffitt has to offer!
Horribly slow. Sat in hospital for 2 days. Oncologist never came to tallk to us. They said he was making his rounds and would come by. He never did.
