If you or someone you love is having surgery and going to be staying in the Moffitt hospital, be sure to have someone stay with you such as family or friend. From my personal experience, the hospital staff leaves a LOT to be desired. Patients most certainly need to have an advocate there to tend to their needs and speak up for them. Moffitt's 'hourly rounding' program looks excellent on paper, but in practice is not actually performed and is simply checked off as if it were done. :/ Bottom line - Do not leave your loved one ... read more
Breast experts – I had my first mammogram here and it was a terrific experience. No pain, very kind personnel... and the doctors that read them specialize in breast cancer. Only downside is that it is hard to get in because they are so popular.
