I had an MRI done on July 10, 2025. I have a growth of some kind in my right biceps. 20 years ago I had a non cancerous tumor removed from the same area. Since an Ultrasound done outside of Moffitt shows nothing (nevermind you can see the outline under my skin) my doctor sent me to Moffitt. The Moffitt Doctor ordered an MRI. The one star review I read on here does not reflect Moffitt whatsoever. Yes, sometimes wait times do get extended and this is to be expected as emergencies come up and they take priority. Have patience and know that other patients may be in a worse situation than you are and need that time. People often have anxiety with radiology procedures and that delays all of our appointments as well. This facility is top notch when it comes to care and treatment and should be applauded for the work they do. They saved my life and many ... read more

I accompanied a friend to a biopsy appointment at Moffitt. My friend arrived one hour early for her 2 o’clock appointment. She was given a buzzer and was told to wait at the waiting area. We waited for over 2 hours and no updates. We asked for help at the front desk and were told her appointment was changed to 4pm without notice. No one notified us of this change.
