Moffitt is horrible.
Amazing place. They took care of my husband and they clearly knew what they were doing. The moment you enter everyone knows what to do and there is basically no wait for anything. They all know who you are, who you are there with, and every thing that they say they will do they do. The most impressive thing was blood work. He had his blood drawn, got in an elevator and by the time he was up the results were already posted on his patient portal. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and the Nurse Practitioner at my urologist office recommended Moffit. I had Dr Pessoa and he was wonderful and spent a lot of time with us. What impressed me the most was him and his staff called and followed up with me weeks after my surgery to check up on me.
My 72 year old significant other has stage 3 breast cancer and chose Moffitt for her treatment. First of all, the staff on site are fantastic. They are compassionate and professional. Her scheduling has been a nightmare and communication is poor. She is overwhelmed by the changes in her treatment that conflict with previous plans with no explanation.
