I moved to Colorado 18 months ago and this is probably in my top 3 restaurant experiences since then. Hot links sandwich rips.
Prices on the website need to be updated. And then surprise total on bill. (Menu said an item was $41. They charged $49. Another item was 17 on menu. They charged 19.) And then when I called the next day because the credit card charge was larger than expected (bc no one gave me the total when I paid over the phone), person said a manager would call me. None did. A must stop whenever we are in Boulder. Food is always delicious and love the friendliness of the staff and customers. The Thanksgiving turkey sandwich is my favorite- yum! The pulled pork, ribs, marinated slaw, hush puppies are all so tasty!! We will be back again-
I just got my first pulled pork sandwich on Baseline Ave. The bartender was friendly and suggested I try the BAMA style sandwich. So I purchased one. When I bit into it - it was dry. At first I thought they forgot all the sauce. Then I found some. There was so little sauce or juice that it was difficult to chew. I expect a pulled pork sandwich to be dripping with sauce. We just got back from the south and had the most delicious BBQ ever. Then we had Moe's. Food was not delicious - the potato salad had twice the amount of salt necessary the turkey and brisket tasted bad. The baked beans were OK. Portions were small - not a good value at all, I mean, how much could coleslaw, potatoes and beans possible cost to justify the tiny portions of food?
