We would highly recommend Modus to design and install your IKEA kitchen. They are extremely professional, punctual amd very knowledgable of the product. Always acailable to suggest recommendatioms to improve your design . The whole kitchen was installed in 2 days, and rhe came back anither half day to includw some new idead I had after the fact
*They gave me a full refund. It takes too long to begin renovation. If you have 6-months to sit around, then hire them. I had two months passed by since I got to learn about Ikea kitchen, I still haven't received an electrician's quote. He visited my unit two weeks ago though. I regret paying $150 for the consultation. She suggested me for city permit which takes another 3-month to process, unlike other general contractors.
We are extremely thankful we found Modus. A few years ago when we first went to Ikea with the idea of a kitchen reno, Modus was the only installer contracted by Ikea. Now a days Ikea says they have an in house installation team, but who knows who you get. Ikea should’ve stayed with Modus! Viviana is an incredible designer - she was able to take dead bedroom space and configure kitchen cabinets to be bedroom closets- even working around baseboard heaters. The installers were professional and kind and quick and clean. We will 100% use modus again!
Overall from design through to installation Modus was awesome. The installers were really helpful, clean and offered lots of good alternatives and ideas when challenges came up! Not often I'm happy too pay a bill these days!
