Still to this day 6/27/23 have not received the money from my lawsuit from this lady from her ruining my wedding in 2021! The settlement was won in 4/2022!! Guess we will be back in court!
I have had several events done by Velma & ALL of them were beyond Excellent, I received so many compliments from others who wanted her information to do a event for them & others as well. I live in CT she has traveled here on 3 occasions, ALL the events were very professional, good quality, good value & she was definitely responsive so the other reviews that I see listed was MOST DEFINITELY NOT my experiences AT ALL. I WILL absolutely continue to work with her on other events I have coming up in the near future.
Do not have this lady plan your wedding! She ruined my wedding! I had to take her to small claims court and WON! There were things missing from my wedding that she was contracted to provide and she fakes covid and avoided me for months because I wanted some of my money back. **Scammer*** anyone can reach out to me if they need proof! If I could give zero stars I would!
All around horrible. Velma set my wife and I wedding up the way she wanted to, not what we paid her for. Her communication was horrible other than when it was time for us to make our monthly payments leading up to the day of the wedding. The day of rehearsal she was late, which cut into our rehearsal time. Our catering company had a hard time getting responses from her, as well as our violinist we pushed to the side by her the day of our wedding so he couldn’t perform. If I was you and I was looking into booking her; DONT!
Please think twice before utilizing Modish Muse services. She is not professional at all. I utilized her services for my baby shower and paid for a sign she had gotten made. Due to her negligence she broke the sign and is now refusing to reimburse me in full for the sign. To me that’s a thief and you do not want someone who lacks that type of integrity to do any of your decor. I’m not the only client she has had issues with!
