The owner’s (Tara) husband (Tom) has publicly engaged in racist behavior online, including using racial slurs and making comments that appear to target people based on their race. I was genuinely shocked to discover this. I would hope the owner does not condone that behavior and that people of color feel safe and welcome here. It definitely changed my perception of this business.
Stopped in for a workout while visiting family last weekend. Place is dilapidated and gross. Half the machines don't work. The others look like they're from the 80's. Went to Retro a mile up the road instead. Much more satisfied.
Love this gym! Everything I need to workout, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere! 🩷
