Honestly, it has been decent living in this building. The area is not very nice. Street parking is tough, there is a lot of trash on the streets, and it's not a very walkable area. The building itself is fine. There has been a change in management since I've lived there and I've noticed a big difference in response time to maintenance requests. Moderno tried to charge us about $1550 for 9 months of water when it should have been under $550; Guardian admitted the system was broken and Moderno admitted fault by removing the $1550 and then randomly charged us $826, anyway; the property manager promised us she wouldn't charge our security deposit for apartment-related issues due to the apartment being given to us in a horrible state, then charged us $400; in total, Moderno stole about $700 from us and now refuses to respond.
