Since 1991 Modern Times has been offering vintage home furnishings from the 1930's through the 1970's. Famous and lesser known designers, our focus is always on good design in furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass and wood. Most of our inventory is available online at moderntimes.1stdibs.com. Partner Martha Torno also has a website of vintage handbags and accessories, modbag.com. Please note - our regular hours are limited but we're always available by appointment or chance.

One of my favorite places in the whole city! They have such beautiful and unusual midcentury furniture, lighting, jewelry, purses, and more. When you go in there, it's a big airy space filled with items that have all been curated by some of the best collectors.
