I am a client of Modern Support Services for 25 years. I live alone and have cerebral palsy, so I need help with many things. I don’t need things done for me, I need them to do them with me, and it’s very important to me that the agency’s employees understand and approve of this. I feel that I am important to the agency and I am grateful for that.
I love my coaches/staff from Modern Support Services! They are so helpful and support me when needed. We do teamwork when it comes to chores and my social outings/activities. They mean so much to me and my family. I feel safe with and trust the staff I am with. I feel happy with Modern Support Services, they are like family to me.
I’ve worked here for about 3 years as a DSP ( direct support professional) and I can honestly say this a great company to work for. From the start of this job I haven't been mistreated by management or HR . The Support Coordinators are very professional and always willing to assist, one of the many great qualities of this job is the paid training they provide, it's a good way to refresh the mind and learn more ways we can support the individuals. Do not fall into the trap they will set for you. You must be perfect throughout your’ entire life and they will judge you for anything. The HR has no clue as to what is going on. Don’t write anything down before your’ interview. They will just set you up to fail if one of the many essays they’ make you write and test and shots they want you to get. Get live test first don’t sign anything! !!!
