Modern Stoneworks walked the job after 1 month of us waiting for the install. They poorly installed 1/4 of the countertops we were asking for (after measuring them 3 times) and then abandoned the job. Some areas had a 1" overhang while others had a flush edge (the ask was for 1/2" overhang). Usually you want a mostly consistent overhang. We do not recommend this Modern Stoneworks and only hope to save others from having the same experience that we did. I used Modern Stoneworks for a kitchen and bathroom counter job in November 2022. There have been several issues along the way that built up to unacceptable service. 1) There was an issue with bad communication between the GC (Countertops, Kitchen and Floors, also in Austin) and Modern Stoneworks. They blamed each other for damage that was done to under cabinet lighting.
