Rich was easy to work with. He communicated clearly and he was patient as we considered the sample swatches and gave good suggestions. He installed the blinds quickly and they look great!! He’s hardworking and honest.
Extremely disappointed experience with this company over the past 2-2.5 weeks and a total waste of time. I always try to work locally, but communications were extremely difficult and though I tried to schedule and appointment, requests were not answered. I had a great budget for my project needs but apparently not enough to get decent customer service. I do not recommend them unless you are spending several thousand dollars $$$, or more. Poor communications, poor emails and poor experience.
Rich did an excellent job from start to finish at our house in Ayer! He helped us choose the right shades and color to suit our new home during the in-home consultation, and he communicated well throughout the process from ordering to installation. Worked with Rich to install shades in my new home. Rich was quick to come out to take measurements and provide a quote. He had valuable suggestions and has a great selection of products. He was able to install the shades within 4 weeks. The shades are high quality and overall I strongly recommend working with Modern Shade.
Just worked with Richard the owner to upgrade our blinds. The experience is honest, straight ford and efficient. Richard gives the suggestions that are to client's best interest. He doesn't try to upsell. As a matter of fact he persuaded me not to pursue features that are lesser in value proposition. I just had the new blinds installed so I haven't had to deal with any quality issues but I got the sense that he'll stand behind the products and installation in case any issue arises.
