Working with Modern Shade has been pleasant, smooth, and cost effective. We got a couple of quotes and they were really well priced that it was worth going with them vs trying to buy/install myself. Also, working with Rich is great. He's not trying to upsell you on the fanciest of fancy. He's communicative and on-time.
Modern Shade and Decor did an outstanding job from start to finish. The quality of the blinds is excellent—they completely transformed the space and gave the entire place a much-needed facelift. Our installer was professional, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. Installation was smooth, attention to detail was strong, and everything was delivered exactly as promised. If you’re looking for high-quality window treatments and a team that knows what they’re doing, this is an easy recommendation.

Rich was easy to work with. He communicated clearly and he was patient as we considered the sample swatches and gave good suggestions. He installed the blinds quickly and they look great!! He’s hardworking and honest.
Extremely disappointed experience with this company over the past 2-2.5 weeks and a total waste of time. I always try to work locally, but communications were extremely difficult and though I tried to schedule and appointment, requests were not answered. I had a great budget for my project needs but apparently not enough to get decent customer service. I do not recommend them unless you are spending several thousand dollars $$$, or more. Poor communications, poor emails and poor experience.
