Best chinese in walla
Things seem to change often The Modern is one of Walla Walla's best Chinese restaurants, having been in town since the 1950s. One of their specialties is Pineapple Chicken, which usually is a favorite with my family, and doesn't survive to make it into a take-home box. The same can be said for their prawns, chicken fried rice, and barbecued pork. The egg noodles are probably one of the most generous servings found here, and they are tasty as well as filling. F Shrimp batter is much too thick. We prefer thin batter so we can taste shrimp not the batter. Service is okay, but not stellar.
The best of the BEST!!! I don't live in Walla Walla, but love going there just to eat at the Modern. Love the Pineapple chicken and subgum chow mein. Totally good enough to roll in!! YUMMMMM
