Located in Perth: What we wanted to achieve: to stop the wind blasting the outdoor area, have a bit of privacy & create an outdoor room. From the 1st consult with salesman Hamish everything went smoothly. Hamish was so lovely and very knowledgeable, a great asset to your company. The install happened earlier than we thought which we were so pleased about too, thank you! The installer chap was on time, polite and did a great job too. Asked for an outdoor blinds quote and made it clear I’m the sole decision-maker. The salesperson still insisted my husband had to be present and pushed to add his details. Never asked first if I was even married / if he worked away / nothing. Just straight up insisting he needed to be there for colour selection a decision making. Outdated and frustrating business protocols in 2026 to have to deal with this from a company that calls themselves modern. Taking my business elsewhere.
Will only come out to quote if my husband is here to hold my hand.......... very frustrating!
After a year of waiting for my gutters to be finished and correctly installed after the dodgy work done by Modern's roof plumber, I have decided to give up and pursue a "Professional roofing Co" to complete my job. Not only where the gutters not Slotted as paid for the installation was with ought Silicon and mitre joints leaking from most down pipes. Far from impressed and I recommend to NOT use the Modern Group! Mount Nasura WA - installation date November 2024
