A box of flooring I bought from Modern Flooring was returned to them in September because it was damaged. It is November 8th, and I still haven't received a refund. After stopping in to check on a refund, I've been stonewalled several times. At this point I don't expect to be compensated for their damaged product. Update: The refund check arrived November 19th, over two months after returning the damaged box and 11 days after leaving the initial review.
I am renovating a community center and needed high quality flooring that could withstand lots of traffic, but on a small budget. Nathan helped me find a great product from Mohawk and I was able to go pick it up in Portland and save myself the delivery fee. Overall it was a great experience and I love love love the flooring I was able to get. The color is perfect and makes the whole space feel warm, open and inviting.
Don't shop here unless you've done your research. They will happily sell you expensive LVP and tell you it will hold up to dog traffic. It won't. We got some very expensive LVP from them and it immediately start scratching. The product has a lifetime warranty that is basically useless. We told Modern flooring about the countless scratches and had them come and look at them. They Said they were sure it shouldn't do that and had their sales rep from the manufacturer come out. Excellent customer service from initial selection of carpet throughout installation! Wonderful all around! We will definitely continue to purchase floor materials from Modern Floors!
Everyone kept in great contact and really helped me be prepared for the carpet to be fixed and told me everything they planned on doing. Fast and efficient and the guys are super nice!!!
