Update: They doubled down on their settlement offer, asking us to take a ~$1000 financial loss for their mistake. Avoid this company at all costs. I cannot recommend this company. We hired them back in September to place laminate flooring in our basement. From day one, our experience was a disaster. Per our work order, we paid for a skim coat prior to laying the laminate to help with some of the leveling inconsistencies. This was not done resulting in uneven flooring. Terrible workmanship. Kitchen floor is so lipped you can't mop it. Damaged my appliances, hardwood floors. Came home to a disaster. The crew wouldn't even show up half the time. Stay away from this company.
Hired modern flooring to redo the floors and baseboards in my house. They did not properly demo the prior flooring, didn’t complete the baseboards (and what they did complete is awful craftsmanship) and after a couple months, the vinyl flooring was separating in multiple places. It has been over a year and they still haven’t fixed all the problems. The people they brought in to do the work were terrible.
