Excellent roofing contractor. They handled our roof replacement efficiently with high quality workmanship, clear communication, and fair pricing from start to finish.
Date: 16 Feb 2026 * EDIT/UPDATE * So here we are in February. Still hearing every so often that the windows are, essentially, “on the way”. Still no windows. At this point, we really just want our money back…because this is beyond ridiculous. Oh also…if you think their address is still on baker rd in Minnetonka…think again. Warning: this company is not paying their subcontractors, not fixing installation problems and is a scam. After the project was finished, we had laborers coming to our house saying they hadn’t been paid, threatening us, etc. We had obviously paid for the work, but Modern Exterior Systems was not paying their subs. Follow up: After I posted the initial review, someone contacted me immediately and scheduled the work. We're very happy with the new roof. Definitely room for improvement with communication but no complaints with the work they performed for us. I don't know what's going on with this company. We were working with Rachel and she was great. We signed a contract and put down a 50% deposit 3 months ago and now total silence.
