We had an undetected leak in our pipes that we knew was outside the house. I contacted Modern Electric to see how they could assist, and initially, we were told we’d need to figure it out ourselves. This company hates the government so much it screwed over its customers by not allowing them to get utility credits to pay their bills. What a horrible CEO makes their poorest customers suffer because he is mad that they keep losing elections. I wonder why people don't want to vote for the people they support?
If you're able to, I recommend avoiding using Modern for your utilities. Their executive team is unfortunately politicized to the point of modifying their services to persuade customers to specific political conclusions. Most recently was disbanding bill assistance funded by the state's climate program, the same day they pinned an article lambasting the climate program, and the bill assistance specifically, on their homepage.
