I called to let them know that I am aware that my bill from the previous month didn't get paid due to my low income and that I wanted to make arrangements or put a not on my account that I am aware that I am past due and to please not send someone to my door with a notice of being past due because I am aware and wanted to avoid the charge of $20 for someone to place that door hanger notice on my door knob. Modern is an OK company. We asked to extend our power bill ONE hour because it was due for shut off. Understandable for a few days but an hour is a little extreme. Obv we had to contact our landlord who could only reach out to them an hour later.

While driving, i saw a white gentleman with a 5 o’clock shadow and ball cap driving this companies truck 2:30 2/25/2026. He was being extremely reckless, swerving between lanes and almost hit my car and someone else’s. If you are representing a company, you should probably pay attention to what you are doing in public.

This company is a JOKE. What electric company in 2025 doesn't have an outage map and a way to tell customers an estimated time when power will be back when an outage occurs.....Inland power in Elk, has a way to report an outage, a map and a way to call in and find out the reason for the outage and an estimated time of when it will be restored......YOU HAVE NONE OF THAT, we are paying customers, we have a right to know when and if someone is working to restore power and when.
