My 2009 Prado was going into limp mode and my regulator mechanic was not able to fix the problem after several attempts. I was then recommended Stephen at Modern Automotive, found Stephen very obliging in determining finding the source of the problem. Took my car here to get roadworthy items fixed. Faulty engine light $220. Two days later, it was back on, another $310. Also, leaky strut, worn bushes and lower control arm. Only shocks were replaced $1200 and I wasn't told the other items weren't done, so it failed the next roadworthy check. When questioned was told, Oh, I thought your other mechanic was doing that.
