This is the worst local business to purchase appliances from. I purchased a $4700+ Speed Queen set from them and, within weeks, the dryer over heated and broke. Then the timing belt broke on the washer which then ripped out all the electrical while flailing about broken in the machine. Modern Appliance came back several times on service calls. I needed to accommodate their visit each time. The kid was sincere but the older technician gas lighted me and kept telling me nothing was wrong with the machine. Eventually, they just... read more
When you look through all of the reviews There is a big variety of positives and a big variety of negatives. That should tell you something. You take your chances. I did not have the impression that they really needed or wanted my business.
We've previously purchased an oven and a dishwasher from Modern Appliance, with great results. Yesterday, with company coming later this week, our washer broke down. James was here today, and quickly fixed it. Thank you!
