Would not recommend. Incredibly understaffed. People are nice but they took almost 3 hours for what seemed like a simple ear and eye problem (for a cat). Had to cancel my plans for the evening, even though I had made an appointment for the check. Again, I’m sure it would be fine if they were actually properly staffed. But, since my experienc here was so taxing, I will never be returning. I saw all the dogs coming and going relatively quickly though, so it might be just a cat problem.

We had a very negative experience today at the Santa Monica location. We received a concerning blood test back on our 5 month old puppy and were urged by our vet from the La Brea location (which we LOVE) to bring her in ASAP for a follow up to determine next steps. We arrive at the Santa Monica location and never even saw a doctor, despite our vet telling us she needed to be checked for signs of internal bleeding. People were friendly but that bad ratings are correct. I wish I'd looked at these before going. It is correct that they try to upcharge you in the waiting room and that follow up communication is poor.
