We engaged Modbuilt in April 2024 to complete a terrace renovation in Chippendale. I would not recommend Steve Meyer or Modbuilt to anyone. We had a terrible experience, I’ve personally never experienced someone in a commercial context behave as badly as Steve did throughout our project. To make matters worse, we are still chasing him for building certificates (project finished April 2025) for works under our contract he completed and we cannot get an occupancy certificate because of this. I engaged Modbuilt to renovate my 3BR 2 BA apartment. He really impressed me with his communication, care, and overall professionalism throughout the process. He went above and beyond in several ways, even coming by after hours/weekends to take care of small tasks. He was conscientious about the work done by the various tradies, holding a high bar for quality and cleanliness. Quick and clear communication, and just generally an honest and friendly person to work with. I'd highly recommend Steve
