Mod Pad is one of my favorite stores in San Antonio. Michael Kelley is awesome! He travels the country and finds all the best vintage furniture and decor. He will keep an eye out for things that will fit your home as he travels. He even came over and helped us hang the groovy chandeliers we bought from him. He’s a great guy and it’s a pleasure to do business with him. Thanks Michael! Keep it up!

This place is fabulous!!! I had no idea they have this gem in San Antonio. They have authentic mid century modern furniture base on industrial Scandinavian designs. They comb the US to bring San Antonio these unique awesome pieces! The owners are immensely knowledgeable regarding this design era. This owner-run business provide exquisite friendly and genuine service. They are very unasssuming, if you are speaking to someone at MOD PAD, you are probably speaking to the owners. N.B. The inventory are constantly changing.
I have been looking for a couple of lamps and was very pleased with the selection I found at Mod Pad. Michael and Kei were terrific and they helped me to pick two lamp sets; although it took me two trips to make sure I got the right ones, I am very elated. I ended up getting the lamps and a nice sofa that perfectly complements my other modern pieces!
We are so lucky to have a gem like Mod Pad in San Antonio! My husband & I have purchased and been gifted, many great pieces from this store over the years. We have always received great service from both Michael and Kei, Michael even personally delivered our beautiful G-Plan desk immediately after we purchased it! I always have a wish list a mile long for them to keep an eye out for on buying trips.
As a modernist and one who loves vintage Mid Century Modern furniture and decor, I have to say that I LOVE this store. Me and my husband have purchased many gorgeous pieces from Michael, including furniture, decor and even gifts for others. When we've specifically searched for a particular item, Michael has gone out of his way to find it for us. Horrible customer service! I was there to purchase two chairs and a coffee table and when I asked questions regarding the pieces the worker just walked away and started talking to customers who had just walked in and didn’t even purchase anything btw. I would not recommend this place!
