I’m visiting from out of town and specifically looked for a salon that was queer and trans affirming. As soon as I got there I noticed lots of queer affirming flags and decorations and felt comfortable. Laila, the owner, was my stylist and was super friendly and welcoming. She offered me a beer and a hot towel that smelled like lemongrass for my neck. Our conversation was meaningful too. My hair is SO PRETTY! I've been going to Laila for years and I'm always amazed by her talent and skill. I feel so lucky to get to visit her own woman-owed and operated barbershop. It seems like she can do it all! Plus she is kind and strong and always makes me feel comfortable and welcome, which doesn't happen very often for me.

Laila went above and beyond to ensure I loved my cut. I went from a modern mullet to a mid drop fade, and I’ve never loved my hair more. Laila is kind, affirming, and INCREDIBLY skilled. I will be back and recommend M.O.D Fade & Dye to everyone I know.
