I've tried several mochi donuts in the past, only to feel ho-hum about the texture and flavor. A friend sent over a dozen flavors as a care package while I was sick, and I discovered these are on another level. It might have been the freshness. They were still warm to the touch upon delivery, and the texture was fantastic.
