Placing a parent in an ALF is one of the hardest decisions to make. The ALF where my mother is a resident, Tuscan Gardens of Palm Coast, offered the option for her to use Mobile Visiting Practitioners to act as her primary care. Doing so was the best decision we made. Her nurse, Kelli Tyson is the one of the most caring, compassionate, competent healthcare professionals I have ever met.
