i'm writing this review because i'm very upset. I went to my local autozones & asked for a local mechanic because my suv was running hot. So the agent gave me a card with and explained this is a mobile mechanic he will come where ever you need him. So i was thinking this may be a great ideal no towing fee right. "WRONG" the guy never was ontime hours & hours later then promised. He had personal problems that was more important then fixing my car. Not answering my phone calls. I feel like i have just lost $600.

I really believe all of these negative reviews are fake and put up by someone with a chip on their shoulder, I bought a used car and was told the strut would need to be replaced. I took it into the shop after researching on priced and found that a new strut assembly was roughly $140 at auto zone, when I went in the replaced this for $160 and also showed me where the arm that hold the strut was also going out letting me look under the car with him so I understood exactly what needed to be done. RUN FOR THE HILLS! The mechanic seemed slow like something was wrong with him. He was chewing tobacco and spitting all around my car. I explained that my battery was brand new so that couldn’t be the issue but he insisted it was. So he had me purchase a brand new battery then installed it, costing me $300 for parts and labor and the CAR STILL DIDN’T WORK! He had the nerve to charge $35 for the trip to the auto parts store which was literally a 5 minute drive around the corner. I feel robbed and want my money back. I tried to... read more

Very disappointed. Mechanic appeared to be high, though I'm just speculating. He was here less than 5 minutes, and charged me 60.00 to tell me i needed a new battery. All he did was jump the car. Maybe it's the typical Wal Mart customer service I had to endure after that, but 160.00 later and replacing the battery myself has me feeling like i just got taken to the cleaners.

What – I could not believe the reviews I read about the Mobile Mechanic. A few days ago when my car broke down on my way home from work I called Mobile Mechanic and DP answered. He was nice patient and helpful. In less than two hours a service truck was there, Katy, TX, to help me. In no time at all the mechanic,Kevin, had my car running. He had to replace the starter. Worst Mechanic ever!! – The other reviews are very true! This place is the very last place on earth you want to take your car. These guys are INCOMPETENT as they come. Plus, they hustle you for your money. DO NOT sign anything before you leave your car there. It is basically a reason to take your money and your car still not get fixed. It is a complete joke. Worst Mechanic--Strongly advice not to opt for 3"Mobile Mechanic" on 515 Hillcroft St ,Tx 77057 – 2 days before i had a problem in inserting keys into ignitions of my Car and so i've to call my insurance for help. I was given 2 options either to call for towing service or an mobile mechanic. I felt Mobile mechanic would be an better option and called "Mobile Mechanic" for fixing my car issue. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE – By calling the main number, you reach a dispatcher who then calls on contractor mechanics to get out to you. The mechanic then calls you to confirm. The consultation is $49, which may be credited to the service fees if you choose to use them. When I spoke with the mechanic, named Lewis, at 1:15pm, I had asked him to meet me at 2:15pm.
