As security director at Woodbury Common I met a mobile life unit responded to a call to a store. Driver parked in middle of roadway blocking emergency vehicle access to over 30 stores. When I spoke with driver and advise that the store they were responding to was not in this area and suggested they move vehicle driver refused to move and was very rude. Predatory billing practices!! Finally the NY AG has shed light on them. I want my money back! My insurance company paid you based on NY guidelines and you ignored me, double charged me anyway and sent me to collections. Thank you AG Ms. James for helping to shed light on this company. I had a fall resulting in torn ligaments in my ankle and knee. Was unable to walk so I had to dial 911 (Fishkill, NY) the 911 operator dispatched an Ambulanz bus (billed to me as “Mobile Life Support Services, Inc.”, “MLSS”). This ambulance took me to the hospital then sent me a bill for $1497.68. They never billed my insurance, So I had to go back-and-forth on my insurance for a while only to find out that they are out of Network (not that I had a choice of selecting an in network provider in my emergency state).
