I usually don't write reviews although I do read them when researching a project that I am doing. However, in this case I feel compelled to write one for Nutmeg Primary Care. I am a 70-year-old man who only goes to the doctor when my loving wife makes an appointment for me for a checkup or if I feel real sick which thank God is not often. I absolutely love this practice. The whole staff is so welcoming, compassionate, and professional without making you feel like a number. When you call, they know who you are without going into long detail. Lindsey Maloney is beyond wonderful. She listens and is so thorough in her exams and knowledgeable about what might be going on. The practitioners at this practice truly care about their patients. Appointments are prompt and they go above and beyond to make sure that not only are you well cared for, but you FEEL well cared for. The staff is friendly and warm. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
DO NOT TRUST THIS PRACTICE. I was a patient for 4 years. They refused to do a life saving “men’s health” exam. Didn’t see my primary care for a solid 10 months in person because she was “out on leave” and they never assigned a covering physician. Then they dropped me as a patient, BY LETTER that I received unexpectedly 8 days before Christmas of 2025, fearing the liability of their own negligence. After searching for a primary care practice for some time, I discovered Nutmeg Primary Care in Kent. I made a first appointment with JudyLynn Furlow a few months ago, and have had a few appointments with her since. JudyLynn has patiently brought together all the information from my other medical specialist. I had an excellent appointment with JudyLynn recently. I was prepared with questions, and she listened very carefully. I truly appreciate the suggestions JudyLynn made, her honesty, and her support.
