The day before heading to Moab from Portland, I realized I was missing one of the sway bar links on my truck. I bought new parts before making the drive but didn't have a plan for installation once I arrived. I found Moab Mobile Mechanic via Google search and called Matt on a Sunday hoping for a Monday repair time, and it all worked out perfectly. Called Matt after I broke down in the desert. After some discussion he convinced me to get towed to the shop to prevent multiple 120 mile round trip visits to diagnose and then repair the belt tensioner that failed. While the tow was expensive, it also set me up in La Sal with facilities while my truck was down. When the replacement tensioner the parts shop supplied failed after a day, Matt special ordered a high quality replacement in and gave me zero attitude in warrantying the work.
Can’t recommend enough. Matt is the man. Got to us extremely fast and helped us patch a flat well enough to get back to town to buy a tire. This should be your go-to guy in the Moab area!
Matt was awesome to work with. He was responsive on the phone, and showed up early the next morning for our appt. He was polite, and got right to inspecting our vehicle. He explained the issue and the inner workings of the parking brake issue we were having in clear, concise terms and was easy to understand. We would absolutely work with Matt again if we ever have anything come up on future trips to Moab.
