GET THE MEMBERSHIP! I grew up south of Houston where it was common to wait 3-4 hours (sometimes more) for a haircut knowing that your barber was absolutely worth the time waited. Also, it was looked down upon to get your hair cut by a woman and anyone else who wasn’t a black man.
