Mike is the best. He got my old 29 year old Johnson Sea Horse 9.9 hp running again like a champion. Here’s what I really like. I purchased a few new parts online including a new power pack for the motor. He went over the motor and got the carburetor running that had quit then installed my new parts along with new fuel lines. When the power pack I purchased was faulty and just quit working he told me to come right back and replaced it for me even though he had nothing to do with the parts I had ordered online. Mike at MNC Small Outboards is amazing! I brought him an older 28hp Johnson with a laundry list of issues. This motor had been sitting at another unnamed repair shop for three months, was released to us as being fixed, but barely ran. We explained how poorly the motor ran, and what observations we had to Mike along with our frustrations. He promised to have it up and running in a week and a half. Took an ol merc that been sitting a while. He put new fuel line, new cables, fix and clean up the wiring and a few other things. Starts right up no problem. Did a good and clean job on it. Thanks for the help and very please with the work.
Bought my 1986 12hp Nissan outboard to Mike because for the 1st time in 34 years it wouldn`t start. I bought it to Mike because he specialized in older , smaller engines. Mike had it up and running within a short time and the cost of repair was most reasonable. Mike is very knowledgeable and freely shares his knowledge with you. Good mechanic and great guy. I will do business with him again if needed.
